I'm pretty sure Jack doesn't really care. He once said that he keeps backups of the stats and can put it back up if he wanted to. Since he hasn't done that, I would assume he doesn't care that much.
Tainted,
Having a high rank does not always mean that you're a good player. In fact, it usually means you have too much time on your hands and need to get a hobby or for some people a JOB. If you're a good player, then you don't need some stat to tell your that you are good. Let your skills in game do the talking. I like to think that most of us play because we enjoy the game and enjoy playing with the people that we meet along the way. Ranks are cool and all but in the end, it's just not that important. Just my 2 cents.

I agree with Stewie. I am here because of our family and yes its nice to have a high ranking, but just ask OldandSlow, as he and I work as a 2 man team and whoever get the kills really doesn't matter, just as long as we control the under and hold off the rush. We are team mates. not lone gunners!!
Same when Mrs. Creeper plays. I'm in total "back up" mode to provide cover fire when she plays. I will sacrifice myself to cover her reload and cover her charge up the ramp. She's the best and when we work together, the best thing for me to do it lets her go at it full bore and I give her the first shots. Only when she gets in deep, do I fire. She's a great player. Kudos Mrs.
You're good with scoped weapons but try spending time of server #2 with a Colt as its a whole new ball game. Geez, on #3 I can buy an auto and run the board, but what kind of fun it that. It's all about team play.
No offense intented.
Just my 3 cents.

Yes i can see what your sayin. Its alittle hard to say team play with this kind of server opposed to a scrim style 5on5.the #1 server works well for that but there is never anybody in there.I have played #2 and its all good.I started playing on #3 because my awping sucked. You say i am a long gunner not really it just looks that way cause i am trying to up my skill with it.Yes with a auto you can run the board its quite easy.My son
turned css pro then gave up on css.I scrim with his team as a backup and see how bad i really am.Theres more to scriming on the pro teams than just killing the other team they have set team player stations for each map.The guns are what i am learning and what they do as each has a killing shot.I wont give ranking a care as i was on a clan and was ranked #2 overall and did gun game scrims on that clan to be pushed out.So all in all i am good with resets.

"My son", hmmmmmm. Haven't been called that in maybe 40 years. No worries tainted, I respect your play regardless of the weapon used. If you consider yourself not so good with scoped weapons, then I have no business playing the game. You are quite good with an AWP. But, I'll still use my M4 and give you a good run for your kills. :D
As I said before, no offense intended.

Jack was playing when server 2 reset...I was there too which is why I'm oddly in the top 15 right now...otherwise I wouldn't make the list until a lot later. There are far better players below me right now and I actually prefer staying out of the top spots...makes going incognito easier!!! I don't care about ranks and a lot of people do and get soooooooo pissed about it or they have to play nonstop until they make a top spot which is completely stupid to me. You play to play and rank is just icing on the cake. I love it when people get so pissed off about ranking or leave because they can't get a zillion headshots which is probably why everyone fucking pissed and whined like fucktards when payo made the bots expert. Who cares if you get 10 headshots per round. I'd rather play harder bots where you use your skill to kill not sit around and wait for the dumb bot to stand still long enough to get a headshot. But then again most people hate the idea of dying because OMG if their KD ratio is too much. It's as bad as a chick complaining that she broke a nail.
So I just play and say fuck it with the rest of you pussies who don't like a challenge because your hacks don't work so well or stand out too much. It's funny when Payo had the expert bots and most people fled...guess you could tell who had the guts to say fuck it to their ratios and just play and have fun even if we got our asses whipped. I don't play to get 100 kills first or to get all headshots. It's about having fun and learning and improving your skills WITHOUT FUCKING HACKS OF ANY LEVEL!!!!!!
And if you don't like what I say....I don't give a fuck! I love the game for the game not for a super fucking high rank!

Let me address the bot difficulty level:
1. The bot level was changed with no announcement, no consideration of who or how many were playing. He changed it and usually left it even after leaving the server. I personally don't like the "it's my server" attitude - none of the other admins that I regularly play with are that way.
2. There are other bot levels than expert: 0=easy, 1=normal, 2=hard, 3=expert. Why not use one of them?
3. There are 21 expert bots. I get tired of being one-shot head shot 4 rounds in a row without even firing a shot, especially when there are only 3 or 4 players. It is not a challenge, it's frustrating.
4. If you want a challenge, fine, but this is switching from one extreme to the other with no middle ground. I suggest trying the other levels, depending on how many humans are playing - save expert for the larger crowds.
I have a script (Mattie's eventscript) running on another server that adjusts the bot count and health level depending on T and CT kill streaks. If you want to try it out, go to: 72.29.104.10:27017. There is rarely anyone in it - the starting bot ratio is 4:1 and then it changes based on results. I can get it to Jack or Coroner if they want to try it here.
Just my opinion - it won't even buy you a coffee or Dr Pepper...

I'm gonna have to disagree with you there Old. I'm not trying to be the devil's advocate but you should probably hear all sides before making up your mind.
1. For as long as I have been playing with Payo, I have never seen him change the level of the bots just because he wanted to. He's always asked at least a couple of people if they agree. He may not always ask openly, but he will at minimum ask what someone else thinks over PM. As for leaving the bots on expert when he leaves, he may be guilty of that in the past but he hasn't done that in a long time.
2. I don't know about the past, but every time I've played with him and a decision has been made to increase the bot difficulty, he's always started on difficulty 2 first to see how things go before switching to 3. If it's too challenging for all players, he does not raise it to level 3.
3. The problem here is you need to change your style when playing at higher difficulty levels. At levels 2 and 3, you're pretty much gonna get owned once the bots see you. Staying in the underpass and waiting for them to run up to you doesn't work at these levels. You need to be more tactical and use your flashed and nades. I can understand your frustration but a little challenge now and then won't hurt you, it will only make you a better player.
4. I agree with you here and this is what's happening now. For the last month or so, Payo has gradually increased the bot levels as players get used to the speed and difficulty. It's possible that by the time you enter the server, we have already progressed to level 3.
Anyway, these are just my observations.

I have seen a completely different situation, SG.
I have yet to see a gradual increase it bot difficulty. Play is normal, then you hear "Round Draw" and the bots are on expert. This has been the case in a half dozen times or so that I have played this.
Again, there has been no announcement - I usually verbally ask what is going on & I never get an answer. Several of the times, I have been the only CoD tag in there & nobody knows what is going on & W ain't talking.
When there are 10 or more players in the server, I would like to see the difficulty increase. I just don't like the way it is currently been done.

Fyi - my comments are aimed at players who are kill-greedy, hack (whether they use low-level hacks or aimbot type) and flash the fudge out of you so they can get the kills first. If Wicked and I are the only CODs and we're playing with a 3-ring circus full of those stated I will ask him to just make them expert because he knows I like expert bots. If there are other CODs or regulars he will make a gradual increase. If anyone comes in after a few rounds of hard bots and they are now on expert well that's your timing like Stewie said. I personally HATE shooting fish in a barrel...it's like going hunting and a dozen deer stand below your tree stand just so you can shoot the best one out of the bunch or actually waiting for the "big one" to come around within shooting range. Which is more fun?
Yes, you have to change your tactics when playing harder bots and people have to learn to "share" kills and work as a TEAM! Most people do not want to do that because they want to get the kills first and the most kills per round instead of just letting the bots come to them and picking them off that way or they will flash their teammates so they can't see and then they get the kills.
I play half-assed on easy bots because it's not worth trying to compete with the kill hogs and team flashers. Winning against expert bots can be done with 3-5 people who can gel as a "real" team and those 3 people include wicked, doc and me but you really do have to change your playing style and adapt to more difficult bots. I actually play better against harder bots because it evens out the playing field on the CT side with the greedy players and because hacks don't work so well or they are wayyy to obvious.
Also only certain people can change the actual bot difficulty and the admins can only change the HP so if one says well the other admins don't change the bot difficulty that's because we actully CANNOT.
As for being tired of being on the receiving end of the headshot round after round, not to sound mean but now the shoe is on the other foot. It's okay to do it to the bot but not to have it done to us? Well I can't agree with that kind of thinking because it's like saying well it's okay to bully someone else but as soon as we are bullied we whine and cry. If you can dish it out, then you'd better be able to receive it and when you do receive it you learn how to adapt your playing style so it doesn't happen. That's when using flash and nades properly will help and retreating to a better spot or retreating to where a teammate is covering your butt as you retreat so then you two can take turns killing bots instead of trying for all the glory on your own.
There are too many times when I've been underpass covering someone's butt and when the bots are charging under that person stays out there (not any cod members) and I can't even flash unless I want to flash my teammate but that person can't just back off for a few seconds so I can throw a flash and then they end up dying and by that time it's too late for a flash and I get killed too. That's an example of greed instead of just playing smart.
My playing style doesn't gel well the greedy people. I don't mind staying back so I don't block people in tunnels while others block because they MUST get those kills and if it's too crowded they will throw a flash because everyone else is taking all the kills. All I can say is learn how to co-exist and you will get your kills...that is why you rarely see me win a round and I NEVER try to win a round. My playing style is suited to provide back up for the other person and to cover them while they are reloading or retreating and I love playing "wingman" but when everyone wants to be the lead person instead of covering your teammate because they want you to die so they can get the most kills, well to me that defeats the purpose of the game and why I like harder bots.
I don't blow my fuse very often but this is one subject that will do it for me because I believe in adapting to harder bots not shooting fish in a barrel and I will gladly defend Wicked's actions because if it wasn't for him we wouldn't really have the servers to play on in the first place so if he wants harder bots sometimes why not give the man his props and allow it? Instead of going in there and being upset at him all the time, thank him for the servers. Like I say, respect is earned not given. Show respect and it will be given back to you. Thank Wicked for his contributions and ask him, "hey I just got in the server, do you mind if we turn the bots back down for a few until I get used to them better" instead of running off complaining about it to someone else...that will score points with anyone and not cause hard feelings with anyone. It's all about asking the person in question and your approach and you may end up being pleasantly surprised but if you continue to complain behind that person's back, well how can anyone expect any respect for that?
I will admit when I first started playing with Wicked I don't think we liked each other too much at first but once I got to understand his playing style and he got to understand mine and got to know him just a bit, now I really enjoy playing when he's around. I earned his respect and yeah we both have the same mindset in harder bots are much more of a challenge.
But I think I have said enough.

First, I didn't know that Payo and Wicked were the same until recently. I also didn't know he was an admin. And, other than a "thank you" on the opening screen, I have no idea what he has done for the server.
I didn't know that he was the one changing the bot levels until you mentioned it.
I mentioned what I have seen when I was on, that's all.
