Isn't it awesome to be part of this clan that is not just a clan of gamers but also friends (even if you don't live in sunny CA lol)
Now one thing we may be taking for granted are these servers when they aren't crashed by hackers and of course it DOES take $$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$.
CA has one of the worst if not the worst economy right now and guess where our servers are located???? CALIFORNIA!!!!!!
We have a great crew of members and regulars and we are a clan that does NOT...and I repeat DOES NOT require donations.
So I challenge you all to ask yourselves is it that difficult to part with $10 or $20 a month if you think about how much coffee or some miscellaneous item you buy and I bet you spend more than that per month on it. Well if you cut back just a little and then made a donation it would help out OUR servers.
I don't want to see these servers get shut down because there is no money to run it.
We keep asking Jack to add this or add that or what about another server with this or that but guess what it costs money. To put the burden on one person costs a lot of money doesn't it? Isn't it easier renting a college apt. with a bunch of friends than footing the rent by yourself? SAME CONCEPT HERE!
It requires so very little from all of us to do so much but we'd rather get that starbucks every morning or something else.
If these servers EVER shut down I don't want to hear anyone complaining because we are all in the position to keep them running but most will sit there and let them go but be the first to complain. I don't want to hear anyone complain because if they get shut down because of lack of funds, you can't expect one person to bear the whole burden while everyone else plays for free. The only ones who have the slightest right to complain are the ones who donate and guess what they do? They ask how much do you need instead of bitching to Jack why he doesn't have the servers back up quick enough.
I don't care if a lot of y'all might not like what I have to say but the TRUTH HURTS when you ask yourself how much have I ever donated to COD or how much do I donate per month and if y'all have big fat fucking 0's then like I said TRUTH HURTS and don't ever complain because y'all didn't do anything to help.
So let's not create that path and why don't we all start chipping in. The math is quite easy and if you want an example:
The actual costs will not be disclosed but for conversation sake...
Say it costs 300/mo. That's a lot for one person isn't it. Now say 50 people donate to cover that cost. That is $6 per person! That's a little more or close to a starbucks coffee and less than a pack of smokes in most places. That's deciding not going out to eat fast food just ONE time per month. See how little it takes to make a huge difference?
Nuff said.
