Spam Attack!

We were the victims of several attacks yesterday and today. We had quite a few people register and post either links or actual pornographic material through out the forums. These people and their posts have been removed.

If you visited the forums while these people were here and saw their posts, I sincerely apologize for your being subjected to such vulgar behavior. I have stepped up security measures for the registration process that should stop this action from happening in the future.

In the event that this does happen again in the future and I'm not available, you can look for Jack, NoVeMbEr or RIPCLAW here or on steam friends for assistance. I check these forums every morning and every night so as I did tonight, I will take immediate action in an effort to keep this place clean and enjoyable.

Apparently they kept getting in so I was left with no choice but to send new registrations in to moderation status. This means that once someone submits their information, they have to wait for Jack or myself to approve them before they become active members.

I have cross referenced the ip addresses with members of DTP and others and none match so at this point we are still not sure who started this and how they are able to get so many people to hit this place in such a short time frame. All of them were from different ip addresses and all of them have been banned. The reason why I mention DTP if to eliminate any possible rumors or false accusations. I have been assured that none of them had anything to do with this. Over 30 hits in the last 24 hours says someone's got it in for us and I can't even fathom what the reason would be.

Warning!
We have been under serious attack over the last few days! I have now installed a mod that will STOP even the registrations. This means that if a potential member is Human they can registor as long as they are using a legitimate name and email address, They will still need Administrator approval before they can post. Spam bots will NEVER get past this new mod. Looks like who ever brought this on us loses! Fuckem.....
